Timeline

I am just filling in my ds-156 for an interview with the us embassy in london.As of yet we have not filed for the K1(putting together the paper work now)one of the questions is do you have a fiance ,do I tick yes?will this affect my application?

Please fill in your timeline so we can see what visa you are applying for and at what stage you are at.

What visa are you filling the DS-156 for?

You cannot file the DS-156 with the embassy (for a K-1) prior to having an I-129F petition approved. If you have not submitted a petition to the USCIC you are months and months early on the DS-156.
