I really am a bit confused.

Were to submit those proof of relationship? At VFS or Consulate?

And say if I submit part of photos, and letters and emails and all at VFS, shall I carry some more for the consulate.

ok loto and other VJ memebers, this might apply only to indians, i am not sure..

my husband went to VFS today, preliminary visit,

he was told to bring the following:

365 RS fee

DS230 part 1 and part 2 ( even though we already sent it in with DS230)

needs to show his PASSPORT

copy of his passport

1 visa photo ( i think he said 50mm x 50mm)

proof of relationship ( hotel tickets, air tickets, honeymoon stuff, photos)

medical report (but we choose to hand carry it)

copy of interview letter

thats it, so he will be going back to VFS with all the docs they need.. will keep u posted..

and we also plan to hadn carry our albums, phone card receipts, email, cards, and honeymoon pics..

Hyd, that's correct. Initially, I thought since we have no interview letter, they mandated again. But it is not the case in Chennai at least mine and Hyd's case. Good luck Hyd

VFS will forward them to consulate.

But in our case, we didn't have to submit proof of relationship to VFS.

my husband will be going to chennai for medical soon, and we were wondering if there are any forms needed to be borught to medical..

i am not sure just want to confirm it with you?

There is a Medical cover letter as part of Packet 4 forms in the consulate website. We have taken 2 print-outs of that. Then usual required docs such as interview letter, passport, photographs, fee, medical records etc.

Nobody has mentioned about I-693 forms. Probably, physician will have those forms. However, we are planning to take 2 sets of I-693 forms too.

Cincy, from your timeline I saw yours is IR1/CR1. You need to submit $400 IV fee at NVC that includes all fee such as immigrant visa application and issuance. So, you don't have to pay anything at consulate at interview time. Happy ?

For non-immigrant people and whovered filed as DCF have to pay.
