Direct Flights

Greetings my beloved brothers and sisters. My mother inlaw will be joining us here in August, by His grace. I don't know if there are still any direct flights out of Lagos to New York JFK? Thanks and God bless everyone.

I thought the only direct flights were Lagos to Atlanta on Delta.

Delta was supposed to start direct from JFK to LOS in June (6/10 actually) but is still awaiting govt approval. Only direct is thru Atlanta for now.

Yup. We paid $1487 a couple of weeks ago. Outrageous. But thats what happens when there is a monopoly

I know. Hey, we could always fly half way around the world (past Ghana), wait in Dubai, and fly back towards Ghana on Emirates. Their fares are pretty cheap.

I know! It sucks...Booker was going to fly on Emirates, but then he would've had to fly backwards 9 hours, have a layover, and then fly forward 14 hours.

Yup. I think the fee is $200 on Delta.
