What did you do on the first 3 months?

Hello sa inyong lahat!

It's been 3 months since I got here in Texas and during this time me and my husband just traveled. Now it's time to file the AOS paperwork and wait till we get news of interview, EAD approval, and the green card itself. We never had a chance to go to a Social Security office or file an EAD for me while I was on K-1 status because we were so busy. So now I have to wait at least 3 months to be able to get a job (EAD approval may take longer than that). What did you do to keep yourself busy while waiting for that approval? Do you have any suggestions other than learning how to drive, going outdoors, making friends in the neighborhood, etc?

help hubby in his work...stay at home sometimes and do cooking

cook, go to the library borrow books and movies, gardening, re-arranging the house, shopping, hmmmm, what else, sleeping, waking up late.... there are really lots of activities you can do and think about.
