HELLO THERE GUYZ, FIRST OF ALL I WANT TO ASK WHAT IS JAMES SHORTCUT? WHAT DOES JAMES SHORTCUT REALLY DO??? DO U STILL NEED TO USE JAMES SHORTCUT IF U CAN PAYONLINE FOR YOUR AOS AND IV FEEs? DOES JAMES SHORTCUT SAVE MORE TIME IF U USE IT?

Even if you pay online, the JamesShortcut helps you to prepare for everything in avance, basically, you save weeks of waiting for snail mail to happen. My wife sent an email for choice of agent(ds-3032), when I paid the I-864 fee, once I got the barcode cover sheet the next day, I sent off the I-864 papers, that day with next day mail. When i paid the IV fee, the next day I received the barcode and then sent the DS230... look at my timeline.... by the way, I just received IV fee bill yesterday in the mail. You be the judge... but basically the answer is yes, the JamesShortcut informs and prepares you for the process. I beleive you might be saving at least 1 month if not 2 months in the NVC process.

Sent I-130 to TSC

Received NOA1 from CSC with a date of 8/15/06

I-130 petition approved 4/16/2008 after 19 months.

Got IIN from NVC 5-13-08

Paid AOS fee online 5-14-08, Paid IV Fee online 5-27-08

Sent I-864 forms 5-27-08

Sent DS-230 forms 5-28-08

6-2-08 called NVC and msg says "received all information,processing will take 4-6 weeks"

6-13-08 called NVC, CR1 is complete, sent RFE for CR2. returned to NVC, waitn on result

6-26-08 case complete/approved. Waiting to be transferred to U.S. Embassy in Guangzhou, China for interview date

7-7-08 Petition forwarded to Guanzhou, China. Awaiting interview letter.

lotofpatience enlighten me about james short cut thanks a lot... its better do to the online payment its much faster than mailing the forms back to NVC... i dont have to use james shotcut anymore. ty ty

Yes you need to use James shortcuts to make the barcode coversheets for the I-864 package and the DS230 package. Just carefully read and follow the process. It is not difficult. When I first read it, I was not sure about it. But last night I made my coversheets so that I am ready when I need them. And it was actually very easy. :thumbs:

yes, it does... that is why you wouldn't need to use the J shortcut... you still use the shortcut for the information and so you know what forms to get ready. You pay online and when they get the payment you are able to print the barcode.

Sent I-130 to TSC
