"Touching" question

Richard had already had his biometrics (1-30-08). The last "touch" date is 1-31-08 but it states the following

Application Type: CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

Current Status: Case received and pending.

is this normal? would it say the biometrics were completed? am I being paranoid? I try not to look to often, because it makes me crazy . It's too bad someone can't get 20/20 or one of the magazine show interesting in how this atrocity.

This is normal, the system only will log a touch, by a date change, it wont say anything about biometrics.

My wife's biometrics was on May 21st. The touch listed is May 22nd, so that is normal. I don't think I've seen any notice that you have completed biometrics. Just keep checking for a new date as the "touch". Then you can probably get excited that something is finally being done.
