Hello all!!

I just got back from my medical appointment.

My appointment was scheduled for 1 so, I showed up around 12:45 just to be on the safe side. The receptionists took my 3 passport pictures, passport, yellow immunization card, and package 3 cover letter. I was finally seen at around 1:45 (the Dr. was running a little late.) He looked at my immunization records and advised me that I didn't even need the Gardasil for the Visa. I'm stilll soooo very confused about the requirements for Gardasil.. but I have it just incase. Anyways, he QUICKLY (you weren't lying Laura! lol) asked me questions about my health and medical history, asked me about Eric and how we met, checked my weight and height, listened to my breathing checked my stomach and that was it.

I walked back to the reception room, paid the $250 and was sent off to get the xray and blood test done. I enjoyed a nice ten block walk to the xray/blood test building (thank God it was a really nice day!) Waited about five minutes to get my xray done and didn't have to wait at all to get my blood test done. I was done everything at around 2:30 p.m.

Still no news yet on my interview date (I just called them) Oh well.. I know I will get a date soon enough.

On a side note, I'm going to see Sex and the City tonight... so, I'm excited about that!

I just also wanna say congrats to everyone who has gotten their Visa recently and good luck to those who have their interview coming up!

Thanks for the review - nice to have it out of the way, isn't it:-).

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

E-mail Montréal 2 or 3 time a week. If I hadn't called I would still be waiting. I was lucky, I called on August 7th and was told the appointment was for the 9th of August. Never ever did receive that mailed notice, wish I did.

All the best to you and Eric for now and the future

Ron

I thought you would have gone to Dr. Maureen Stewart at the Riverside Hospital, She was good.

Wow, I can't believe you didn't get anything in the mail and only had 1 day to get everything together. That must have been crazy!!

I have been calling every day or second day.. I called twice today. lol

Continue calling and e-mail also because they may get what you want after you called.

It was very surprising to call on the 7th and hear the appointment is on the 9th, but I wasn't going to complain I had everthing ready for over a month in advance, all I needed to do was get to Montreal and left here at 2:30a.m. on the buss and got there between 6 and 6:30a.m.

I hope you are ready to go at the drop of a hat. I hope get your appointment and approval soon.

I went to her even though I work a few blocks from his office, it have more time off. The price was up there but she was good and gave the complete physical, eyes, ears, nose and everything from top to toes. I called Dr. Weiner and got an attitude that is why I was Maureen.

I was originally going to go see Dr. Stewart but once I noticed the price difference, I changed my mind. I found Dr. Weiner's staff to be very nice.

Oh well... come on interview date :-D
