Mine got approved in 10 days because of the holiday. Thank goodness the email option is available.

That's great. I had to fill out the form and then fax it to my wife. She signed it and mailed it to them.

Btw, expect to pay $400 to be the "designated agent," which they neglect to tell us that in the original letter.

Thankfully we can all do the payments online ..... and via the phone, know when to send the paperwork out to save time ....

The $400 is the fee for the Immigrant Visa, not a designated agent fee, there will probably also be a slight top up fee at the Embassy I do believe.

hi Sarah, did u pay your AOS and IV Bill already? We're supposed to pay today but the NVC online payment site is under maintenance until June 02, 2008.
