Caity, I will be patiently waiting for your news. I have lots of prayers that have been delivered successfully in your honor :)

Stevi

Caity,

Thinking of both of you on this special day. Good Luck!

Thank you both! I spoke with Angel for about 15 minutes on the phone this morning. He seems to be ok, nervous, but ok. His medical went fine yesterday (as far as we know :)) and I am beginning a long day that will drag on as I "patiently" wait for his call. I'm going to be quite useless in my classes today, I hope my teachers don't mind :P

Thanks for the kind words, I will update everyone this afternoon.

Take care,

Caity

Caity, have you heard anything yet? Your name is showing at the bottom of the screen.

I have no idea what the time difference is in Mexico for Angel's interview. (I'm a bit slow on some things).

I'm waiting patiently for some GOOD NEWS this morning.

Hugs to You,

Stevi

Hey Stevi :) no news yet, he's probably making his way over to the embassy right now. With the clock being set back, he's now 2 hours behind me, which means more waiting on my part. We heard that there is a payphone inside the consulate and so he bought a phone card so that hopefully he can call me as soon as they say "Congratulations, your visa is approved" (I've decided to think positively!!) I've got class/work straight from 9:30 to 6:30 today, which might actually be good to keep me busy. I've got my phone on vibrate in my back pocket, so as soon as my butt starts jiggling, I'm running out of whatever class I'm in!!! Hope my teachers are understanding :P

Angel just called me about 25 minutes ago from a payphone in the consulate and told me that....

HIS VISA WAS APPROVED!! He doesn't have it in his hands yet, but he's waiting for it. Ahhhhhh. Thank you everyone for being so supportive. I will write more later. I'll be even HAPPIER when he calls me to say that the visa is IN his passport.

I wish the best to all those who are still waiting. Everything will work out for everyone.

Congratulations, I have been waiting ALL DAY for this GOOD NEWS.

I stepped away from the computer for a few hours and that's when you posted :)

I am SO very HAPPY for you and Angel, Caity. We've been going through this together, it feels, and your happiness brings happiness to me as well.

God bless you both, and PLEASE, PLEASE don't disappear from us yet, like someone else has done :) (hint, Maria)......Just joking, I know that you have a LIFE to live and a future to plan, so if you disappear for a while, I will accept that, ok?

Again, God bless you and enjoy this glorious feeling!

Thank you Stevi- oh don't worry, I won't disappear!! This website is where I get all of my information and feel connected to so many people going through the same thing. Thank you so much for the congrats, Angel and I are very happy- can hardly believe it. He'll hopefully be coming here in mid/late December, so I have so much to look forward to.

I pray that Taiwo's visa will soon be issued as well- and that he can join you soon. Maybe we can all be married before 2009? hehe.

Have a good night everyone. I'm ordering Chinese and watching movies and dreaming about December. :)

Hello everybody!

I am happy to see all the good news that has been happening in this thread!! Lot's of good stuff. I hope everybody has a fun and safe halloween! :innocent:

So far we have sent in our AOS Packet and all that good stuff. Jorge has his SSN already. He is kind of frustrated because he is bored. I have a very busy schedule so it's hard for us to spend a lot of time together throughout the day. He is doing some side duties with his uncle and some friends of mine and my dad. It's not much but every little bit helps. :) Everything is going great. :) I will have to post some pictures of the day we got married. We did it through the court first. Hopefully in the spring we will have a nicer wedding.
