Hello Marchie friends.

Jorge has made it to Ciudad Juarez safely :thumbs: he had me worried because he told me he would get there at 10:50 his time; that would be 8:50 my time.... and as soon as 9:50 my time hit...he calls me. I wasn't aware that Juarez was an hour difference from Mexico City. :wacko: So really it took him 3 hours to get there, not 2.

He's safe and sound :)

That's great to hear Maria!! I hope everything goes smoothly at his medical today. Keep us posted!

So... initially Angel and I had talked about him coming to Wisconsin in March (I'm not sure why, we just randomly came up with that month) so that he could work more and save money. However, after only 10 days of being away from each other, we are both suffering a lot. I just came out and told him that if he gets his visa in late October/early November, I don't think I will physically/emotionally/mentally be able to wait 5 more months for him to come here. He completely agreed, but money is such an issue for us. I just pray and hope that once he actually has that visa in his hands, we are able to decide on a date that he will come here, and I truly hope it's sooner than March. I dont' think I could handle it. That's my life right now. My mom is sending me the I-134 and other documents sometime this week so I can ship everything off to Angel.

I hope everyone is doing well in the process- keep us updated on any news!

I don't know how you can wait that long. March is a long ways away. I do understand the money issue, but that's tough when you have the ticket in your hands and you don't take it. It's tough. I hope you guys can figure something out so he can get to the US much quicker. it's hard enough having to be apart for this process. I don't know. I wish you the best. I know I wouldn't be able to wait until March..... I would if I absolutely HAD to.

Jorge made it to the hotel and they told him that they gave away his reservation :angry: so he had to find another hotel to stay at. Luckily, there was one available 3 streets down. PHEW! ALso... as soon as he got there, we talked for a few minutes then the phone shuts off.... AGH!!!!! I tried and tried and tried calling him until this morning. I was worried sick!!! He finally calls me at work and explains to me what happenend. He is ok :)

Hi All,

Caity, I can understand the money saving issue, but wow, 5 entire months (isn't it more like 6 months until March?) is like waiting for the NOA2 all over again :mellow: but we each have to do what we have to do. I pray that it wont be too long.

Maria, good luck with Jorge's interview tomorrow. I can't wait to read your good news! And I agree with Caity, your posts just seem to radiate with emotion.

I hope everyone else is doing well.

Where is my little Angelbelle? I am missing you again. I will PM you to see if I can get a response :) I'm hoping it is because you are en route to the USA! Don't forget that we have a date to meet each other one day in the future. Even if we have to meet half way between Ohio and Arizona :yes:

We are still just waiting for the London Embassy to record receipt of our returning packet 3. It was received successfully per Royal Mail delivery, but not in the system yet, per NVC.

I have become much more calm about it all lately. I think I am subconsciously finding a way to keep from being nervous. But I am surprisingly calm right now.... :rolleyes:

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I have to tell you- I've been at class/work 9:30-6:30 straight, and I just got home and the first thing I did was check to see if Jorge got his visa! That's so exciting, Maria! You must be thrilled! Hope you let us know more about it later :)

I don't have much details yet. I posted that quickly during work :P I just couldn't wait til i got off!

He actually changed his plane ticket to fly back to MX City tonight; he is flying now! He should be home at 9:00 PM here. PHEW! He REALLY wants this. It's funny. He's so cute. I feel really weird! I don't believe that it is real. It's hard to explain. I am happy but at the same time i don't believe myself. I also feel so many different emotions that I am very tired. I want to sleep.

He will be here Saturday if we find a cheap enough ticket!!

OH SOMETHING ELSE!!!! That lady from that nice apartment called me today asking me if i was still interested because there is another one available in a couple of weeks! TALK ABOUT PERFECT TIMING!!!!

I love it when things work out the way we want!!! IT's awesome!!!

Thanks everyone for everything. i couldn't have done this without you. I will not leave you guys. I will stick around to hear any more news from you guys. OF COURSE!!!

hmmm this post is basically for the purpose of not being on Page 4 anymore. I miss the days where we all posted every day!!!

:( I feel like everyone is moving along so quickly and Angel and I are just strolling along... taking our time. arggggh.

I would like him to go to his interivew NOW.

Aww..I miss it too. But those were the days when we had nothing to do but wait. You're not alone in feeling that things aren't progressing Caity. We got packet 3 two weeks ago and still haven't sent it off. We're going to have to reschedule the medical because at this point we wont get the appointment letter in time...I feel like we are going backwards =( I'm right with you in feeling impatient! *sigh* :clock:
