Conversation with a Customer Service Center representatives today.

- Hello, I would like to place an expedite request for my I-130 petition I filed in October, 2007

-Have you filed one before?

-Yes, in April. It got denied.

- Sorry, miss. You cannot file the expedite request after 60 days of the first one.

- Sure , I can. I have spoken to one of the Immigration Officers in Vermont and she assured me it has to be only 30 days after the first one.

- Well, the system doesn't allow me to place that expedite for you.

- May I speak with someone who can help you with the "system" then?

-Hold on...

Another rep.- Hello, May I help you?

- Hello, I would like to place an expedite , but the system doesn't allow us to it due to my expedite request in April.

- O, you cannot file again, if it got denied.( ????!!!)

- On the piece of paper that I received from Vermont Center states that I am eligible to submit another one after 30 days......

- O, REALLY, I DIDN'T KNOW THAT!

- Well, I am glad I could be helpful.

- I don't know why the system doesn't allow us to do it, just send the letter by mail.

- Could I fax it to Vermont Center? There was a fax number on the denied letter I received from them.

- Yes, if you still have the number. Ummm, COULD YOU GIVE ME THE NUMBER , PLEASE. JUST SO I HAVE IT FOR MY RECORD. (!!!!!)

- Sorry, Mr. ( almost laughing) I do not have it with me at this time. But if you want I can call back later and give it to you?

- No, you won't get me. There are so many of us ... Well, thank you for calling us. And if you ever have any questions- PLEASE, CALL BACK FOR MORE HELP.

I wonder who was helping who with more information ? He wasn't a bad guy, he just knew nothing about his business....

To laugh or not to laugh- that is the question!

That's hilarious .... useless idiots!!!

Please bear in mind that expedites done thru the phoneline (directly with USCIS) have a higher chance of denial.

If you want a better chance of approval, do fax it to a Senator/Congressman .... and try to get them to help you .... especially as you've been denied before.
