Well, its still fourty minutes until Wednesday here in CA but oh well. Its Wednesday somewhere in the world! :devil:

We are leaving tomorrow for a big vacation to the Middle East so I probably won't be around VJ much for quite some time. I am glad to hear of all the visa approvals, babies being born, and all that fun stuff. I hope to read about more good news when I either get time to go online or when I get back!

Of course now I suddenly have that first twinge of a sore throat so now I'm worried I will get sick at the start of the trip. I sucked on a zinc lozenge, ate some vitamins, and loaded up on water, fruits, and veggies. HELP! What else can I quickly do to get this handled before I end up with a full blown cold!? :crying:

Okay happy hump day everyone!

have a fun and safe trip! i've liked seeing yr youtube video for the last couple days. fraggles and smurfs are great, but my favorite part was patty rabbit and the rest of the mapletown characters. that was one of my most watched cartoons when i was little. soooo cute.

Oh wow someone actually watched it? I thought it was such a trip I had to post it. I've never seen the cartoon before (well at least not that I remember) but I did have the dolls when I was a kid! I'm like the opposite of a pack rat though... all my favorite toys are long gone because I threw everything away because I didn't like clutter. lol Stupid kid. ;) My mom fished things out of the trash when she could but I'm sure I snuck those little guys by her.

Hey Jen!

I was too old I think for Mapletown, although I remember the characters and I did have the little fuzzy animals. Were we too old or was I just not into it for whatever reason? That's interesting we had the same thing-- the toys but not the cartoon.

Have fun on your trip! Email me or PM me or whatever and I'll get you the numbers if you need them.

Sometimes, if I am getting a sore throat and I don't have time to mess around with it, I'll take a small drink of something with a high alcohol content in it like nyquil or vanilla extract (I know, weird, but I don't actually have any drinking alcohol in the house) and then go to bed to let the alcohol kill whatever it is... otherwise try gargling with salt water.

Can anybody tell me why the batteries in a smoke detector must always die during the night???Every 60 seconds it let off a piercing beep! :angry:

Nawal, good luck, how exciting...I cant wait to see pics!!

Sereia..Have a wonderful trip...Sofyan and I have been here for 2.5 years now and still havent been able to get back to jordan...i envy you...lol..

Im awake early, only because i nearly slept alll day yesterday, my tummy hurting on top of the worst headache ive had in a while...i was not a happy camper...i took 2500mgs of tylenol and it did nothing, not one bit of relief...today its slightly better, but, i feel it coming on again...god i just cant win...

Zaid slept a 6 hour stretch last night...it was incredible...i woke up and was kinda scared thinking, wow, its been a while...but the lil guy just snoozed away...hes getting to be such a big boy...hes already cooing, following objects, smiling, its going toooo fast, he needs to slow down!!

Morning all!

Sereia have a safe trip and have lots of fun!

Kelly---its so scary when they sleep that long it almost freaks you out having to go into the room to check on them. Malek did his first real stretch without waking last night for a bottle. He made it 9 hours, HALLELUJIAH! I thought this day would never come! :dance::dance:

Prayers are with you Nawal!! I can't wait to see those beautiful baby and reunion pictures!

We have had the same stupid problem with the fire alarms. We had a situation where all went off in the house at the same time because they were wired together and we couldn't figure out which one had the bad battery because they just keep echoing. After a few hours of the nonsense, leaving and coming home to the beeping again, we unhooked all of them and bought new batteries. It was driving us bonkers :wacko:

Mohamed, you are cracking me up in the playpen. Everytime I see that it makes my day! I guess Melinda put you in there to keep you under control :rofl:

10/23/2007--7 months and 2 weeks of A/P and still waiting..........God help me!

4/22/2008---2nd Interview ( keep us in your prayers)

4/22/2008--He was approved for the Visa 2-3 weeks until he recieves it in the mail lets hope so!!

6/03/2008--VISA IN HAND! Thank you god!

7/03/2008--Our Wedding Day!

Malek is getting SOOO big, his face has really matured from that chunky baby face to a more IM A LITTLE MAN face....He is really looking like your husband..I bet u get that a lot right??

9 hours is amazing...I cant wait til zaid has those nights...My mom told me i slept thru the night when i was a month old and on...hopefully he takes to that!

Im gonna get the house picked up while the baby takes his last hour snooze for the morning!!
