What if interview date is after expiration of NOA2??

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what happens if the interview date set by the embassy takes place after the expiration date on the NOA2???

I sent my docs for packet 3 beginning of may, I know they received them, but I still don't have the NOA4 from them. My NOA2 ends on the 26th of june and I am afraid my interview date could be after this date...

Is there anything my boyfriend or I can do to avoid any troubles the date of the interview??? Is there a risk they will refuse to give me my K1 because of that??

Most everyones NOA2 expires before their interview. Embassy suppositely extends them. They don't inform you they did tho.

Call if you want but the four month validity is routinely extended by the Consular officer as needed, without input from the petitioner or beneficiary.

I may be having the same problem, we expire July 12th but still haven't been given a interview date, SOOOO it could put us in July, but I really hope not!!! But if I were you I would also call the embassy!
