I have been calling the embassy every Monday for updates on Angela's visa.

Will they have the day off?

since its a national holiday here in the US and they (govt agency) will be closing that day, i believe it is closed too, there in manila... though im not sure...

Citizenship N-400

4/15/2010- sent my N-400 via fedex overnight

4/16/2010- signed and delivered

4/29/2010- check cleared

Embassy Honors Defenders of Freedom in May 25 Ceremony; Observes Memorial Day Holiday May 26

U.S. Ambassador Kristie A. Kenney and Philippine Defense Secretary Gilberto C. Teodoro, Jr. will lead the commemoration of the American holiday of Memorial Day during a ceremony that will be held at the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial in Fort Bonifacio on Sunday, May 25.

The Embassy of the United States in Manila announced that in observance of the holiday, the Embassy and its affiliated agencies will be closed on Monday, May 26.
