Hi thirdsjen, thanks for adding me to the tracker. I had a question. Do you know why Rentachi got approved so quick? Was it an expedite or just luck? I hope we all get approved this quickly.

Hi beniecenvet!

No, my case was no expedite! I was just lucky! There are 3 other brazilian girls that were approved on May 15th (they had filed their forms in April as well - K3's). We just got lucky!

And look, Loolinette and Steve Y Jessica also got approved really quick!

CSC is on fire!

lol

Nice colors, Jen! Yellow and Purple. Do you guys think that the Lakers winning has anything to do with the approvals....probably got those CSC workers in a better mood and the increased their efficency?! If that's the case, I will re-live the mid 80's when I was cheering for the Lakers to win the trophy!

thirdsjen, yours looks on the right track too though...from what ive read i guess touches do not mean much so i would not worry about it...as you have mentioned you already have noa1 which is good. i read one post a few days ago and theirs was never touched because i guess they just did not run it through the scanner or whatever they do so i would not worry about it but in the end they got approved

Hi Renata,

First of all I want to congratulate you for your K3/I130 approval.

I wanted to ask you though, since both of your petitions were approved on the same day, will your spouse enter the country on K-3 or on the CR-1? Also, when is the interview scheduled for?

Thanks.

Hi Renata

Congratulations on the swift approval.

Renata do try the online paying system. Its fast but slightly risky. Sometimes bills are charged twice but its time saving! (sounds like I am working for NVC  )

cmnb the interview will be scheduled once the case is completed at NVC.

All the best!

Hi cmnb,

Just saw your post. Thought I should write and help you out.

1. Petition is sent to USCIS

- USCIS Sends Notice of Action or NOA1 to the petitioner

- Then USCIS sends Notice of Approval or NOA2 to the petitioner

2. USCIS sends the case to NVC or National Visa Center

----NVC assigns a case number

----Sends information to the Petitioner

----then the whole NVC process takes place

3. After bills are paid, forms are sent to NVC and they declare the case is complete Then the case is forwarded to the Embassy or consulate.

Consulate gives an interview date and sends information about what documents should be brought at the time of the interview and also gives information about the Medical that is mandatory.

Then the interview takes place and by that time the beneficiary will know what is happening to the case.

Don't panic. By the time all these stages will come, you'd be ready
