Question on removal of conditions

My wife and I sent in her I-751 packet on April 1st, with the help of this website. I sent it Certified Mail as well. It was received and our check was cashed. A few weeks later we received a Biometrics notice, which we went to that appointment. My question is we still haven't received an official letter stating that our application has been received. What should I expect? It seems like the paperwork should have arrived by now. I went to the USCIS and checked the online status using the number on the biometrics mailing. It said our case had been transfered to the Vermont Service Center. We haven't received any notification of this either in the mail. My wife's greencard expires at the beginning of June. Does anyone have any thoughts on what we should do since we haven't received the extension letter? Should I make an infopass appointment? We were hoping to take a trip outside of the country in August or September, but I am a little nervous since we haven't heard anything back formally.

Thanks for any Advice.

TSC has not been sending out the NOA receipt/extension letters since early February so no, it is very unlikely that you will ever receive one. Neither have any of us received a letter notifying us of the transfers of our applications from TSC to VSC. THe USCIS offices are well aware of the problem. You will need to make an INFOPASS appointment with your local office, have your wife bring her green card and her unexpired passport, explain to them you have filed the I-751 and have never received any receipt, and they will put the I-551 stamp in her passport.

If you check out the thread listing on this forum listing all of the applicants and where they have filed, you will see that universally the TSC applicants have been transferred to VSC and virtually no one has received anything other than the biometrics appointment letter.

Here is the thread - go to the end and add yourself to the list :) .
