Hi all

So sorry it has taken me so long to post...but I only had 2 weeks off, and had to spend every second with my hubby! It's now been about 3 weeks since he got home...and life is WONDERFUL!!! His arrival was nothing short of a nightmare!Besides overbooked flights, being delayed in customs, and having to sleep in the Atlanta airport....he finally made it, and with his sense of humor still intact..(while picking up his bag from the baggage claim, it broke and everything went flying everywhere..we could do nothing but laugh hysterically at that point!!! :rofl: )

He has acclamated amazingly well. My family absolutely loves him, and all my friends are now telling me they understand why I took my crazy butt to Africa for 3 months! :yes: He likes most food, that he thought for sure he wouldn't! LOL Right now the heat is what bothers him the most, believe it or not! It has been over 100 degrees, and not cooling down at night. Its the dryness of the heat, and he's experiencing "ashy" skin for the first time! (he didnt know what it was, until I explained it to him...awww, my poor baby!..lol)

And the greatest thing of all is that we are so much in love that I think we are making people sick! LOL...Even the images I had in my head of us finally being together...are no comparison to what it actually feels like. He is a true gentleman, and a loving soul. We pray every day and thank God for his favor in bringing us together, and for all the wonderful blessings we have in our lives. The road was long and hard..but now we do not have to travel it alone.

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone still awaiting their loved ones...and may God bless your journey, and your life together. AMEN (L)
