Welcome Adbo.

Regarding the SS it depends where you live. Some places will allow while others will not. My husband got his card before we were married. I know several ppl that were turned down after marrying. Also, if you want a driver's license you should do so before marrying. Technically, once you marry, the K1 is no longer valid and you're "out of status" until your AOS/EAD goes through.
