Its a dangerous world, I often fear what would happen to Melannie should something unforeseen overtake her. She has no one in the UK, and I'm so far away, plus I wonder what rights I would have in getting to her as we arent married yet. Its mostly too terrible to contemplate, esp as she flies twice a week for work. I do get the numbers to the police stations in whatever town shes in and keep them handy, although I dont know what good it would possibly do.

yeh i'm not sure what rights we have as we couldn't techincally be common law spouses.

Someone just got approved (its in April thread) by CSC so they must be still working...very slowly, but wrking

VJ is pretty accuate with its estimation times so u guys will be soon!!!! :thumbs:

yeh i saw, shame that they stoped at them, i'm hoping that perhaps this is the slow one and hes coming to mine next

We were touched today!! I can't believe it. I was sure I checked a few hours ago and nothing, but I'm sitting here watching the Karate Kid (oh god, yeah) and it's almost midnight and I decided to check out of boredom. My heart nearly jumped out of my chest..... :P

2009-08-25 - received Biometrics appointment letter!

2009-08-27 I-131 (AP) approved

2009-09-15 Biometrics appointment

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

:ot: since when was Karate Kid and Pinata Survival Island the kind of stuff they put on AMC. What happened to the black and white films they used to show on this channel! Man, I feel old..... :P

Now I am feeling really, really old--I'm pretty sure I saw Karate Kid in a movie theater :whistle:

Of course, I already thought Ralph Macchio was dreamy from his role in The Outsiders. "Stay gold, Ponyboy." Still makes me get a bit teary-eyed :crying:
