Wow...I haven't been in here since I filed back in May....I need to send packet 3!...anyone else struggling with details? I am trying to organizre the damned thing and choose only a few chats to include along with emails, photos, reciepts, tickets, passport stamps etc...problem is i don't have any chat logs for December 2007 to May 2008 because my computer got a virus and Yahoo archives are lost. And anyway we didn't know how important it would be to save our chats for this visa....anyone else with the same problem?

No, don't worry...I think we all go nuts...I just want to know if it is important to prove a relationship before filing...I don't know what the consul thinks...and the texting we started because we had to...we couldn't get a hotel toom and I was getting ready to fly out t meet him (unmarried couples are taboo in a hotel room together in turkey) I wouldn't worry about the details...I am sending so much because I am afraid they won't see us a lejit because of so little proof from before we filed...I just don't know...but look at my other posts and see if anyone answered your uestions as well...ok...I'm offf tofinish package three after I read any responses that may be helpful...and I am blabbing too!...lol I think we will be fine

I think it really depends on the consulate. They all seem different  And everyone's case seems different too. Casablanca is a tough consulate, and yet we managed to be fine even though my fiance forgot our photo album! However, they did keep all our written evidences (emails, chats, plane ticket stubs, etc) and read them, and then approved. Of course, the particular CO he had seems to be known to do that there. So you never know! I'd rather be over-prepared than to have something missing. (like pictures! :P ) (Oh boy, he'll never ever live that one down  )

Rocks what questions did they ask you at the interview?

there were just a few simple questions about how we met, my work intentions, where my man works, stuff like that which you will know already. it was very painless, i wrote a short review which you can see from looking at my timeline if you're interested. try not to worry too much, you'll be fine.

oh cool, i was reading jerallys list of questions, and it looks like someone was repeatedly probed about why they loved their other half and and why they knew he was the one, even though they answered everytime. did you get that? repeaing questions even though you answered? and what exactly did they want to know about your work intentions? as it is mine a very vague, as i would expect most peoples are on here.

the only question they repeated a lot was "have you been married before?", i must have been asked that question 10 times by the two people i saw. i was asked questions about what profession i was going to go into and my degree, he used to work in i.t. too so we had a little chat about that. they just want to see you're telling the truth, you'll be fine! i've got my fingers crossed for you. :)

i just hope i dont get nervous and bumble things, which is silly, but i do sometimes, the other night one of the regulars and my dads friend, decided he was going to start throwing practice questions at me to see if i'd fail, and being preocupied with thoughts of the interview (he got me thinking and nervous again) i got my left and right mixed up, when he asked me what side of the bed he slept on. i know perfectly well the answer but for some reason i thought at that moment my left was my right and vice versa. with in seconds i corrected my self but he decided to cut me up and tell me i'd fail, so iwas nervous enough but then i was worse. idont even know why i bothered to answer him. i think thats what worries me, not that i dont know the answers but that i'll have a brain fart from nerves  or they just wont be happy with the answers. even though they are the truth.

and if i hear one more time that they know someone who knows someone who had to amswer very personnal questions, and the tone is always as if i wont know the answers  which is unfounded and negative for the sake of being negative, i think i will scream.

They're not going to ask you what side of the bed he sleeps on. You're not married yet, remember?:innocent::devil:

But seriously I think they ask that on the AOS interview. I was worried they would ask really personal questions!!!! Like you know...um...yeah. Anyway. They didn't. Just be honest tho and don't worry that they won't be happy with your answers. I can't imagine anything you'd say that they wouldn't like. You fell in love, you're head over heels, you want to come be with and marry the man of your dreams! Plain and simple (and honest)! :luv: And I doubt they'll ask you really personal questions. Relax. Take your time answering the questions so you don't garble your answers. Slow yourself down (this is general interview advice for any type of interview!) I'm sure they've had nervous interviewees tho! And this is, if you think about it, the only time in your life you'll be "excused" for being nervous and garbling your words (unlike an unforgiving job interview!) All you gotta prove is love and good intentions. And you know that's the truth anyway....it'll show and they'll see it. (L) You'll be fine  (Don't make me come smack you! JUST KIDDING :P )

Hannah, remember I'm closer in distance to you than Carmen is and as I having nothing better to do as I have been made redundant I actually could come smack you on her behalf.

You are going to be great, I'm sure. Remember I'm living vicariously through you.

If you need me you have my number, I'll be praying for your peace of mind

This time tomorrow you will be laughing and crying for joy I'm sure!!! Just make sure not to leave your passport on the heater.

Its ironic, I was only waiting till I got my interview because my current contact would have been finishing on Feb 28 and then I was going to resign. This makes it a little tighter than I would have like on the £££ $$$ side, but maybe its a blessing in disguise.
