I have noticed recently that my projected ajudication date on my timeline seems to be dropping. It has gone down almost 10 days in the last couple weeks. Has CSC suddenly started to pick up the pace? I am not complaining!!! It would be great if they got everybody approved in 90 days or less! I am just wondering if anyone has heard anything about this?

- Met in a Kuwait coffee shop: 2007-09-09

- Had 1st date (Chinese food): 2007-10-27

- Had fallen hopelessly in love: 2008-02-14

- I-129F sent off to CVC: 2008-04-21

- I-129F NOA1 received: 2008-04-22

- Check cashed by CVC: 2008-04-23

- I-129F NOA2 received: 2008-09-03

- I-129F left NVC for MNL: 2008-09-11

It's true. The CSC has been actually active these last couple weeks which has been a HUGE relief to those waiting for several months. They seemed to have taken a nice long vacation for pretty much the whole month of April, which was stressing everyone out. But like I said, the past two weeks have shown a lot of activity and has been very encouraging.

That said, the VSC still pumps out NOA2's about twice as fast as California. There are rarely cases of the CSC doing a 90-day approval (except in the case of expedites or Cuba petitions) so I wouldn't get too hopeful for that one. The standard response is "be prepared to wait 6 months for your approval." It will probably be less, and you can keep track of current progress by checking Igor's list to see who from VJ has been approved that week. That is how I always keep track of my estimates.

The average numbers as of today say NOA1 to NOA2 at CSC is 141 days. NOA1 to NOA2 at VSC is 78.

Igor's list is here: http://cse.ssl.berkeley.edu/igor/vjdata/default.aspx

Good luck to you!
