i just got my letter of approval for my fiance visa petition. my fiance is turkish. I think what happens next is i send him a copy of the packet that i sent in with my petition, and an affadavit of support. the approval letter says i'll get another notice in 2-4 weeks, when the paperwork reaches the embassy. should i wait until then for instructions? or start mailing things to turkey now? i wanna know what to expect as soon as possible and get this thing done! :)

also, should he start preparing anything now? or should he wait for instructions?

Congratulations!! You should definitely start preparing. Take a look at the guides and see what you're going to require. The USC will need to get some paperwork to the foreign fiance for the interview. Also, while you're doing that, :time::)

7/31/08: Received by USCIS

8/06/08: Check cashed

8/07/08: Rec'd NOA for I-485 AOS

8/07/08: AOS, EAD, & AP - Touched

8/08/08: Rec'd NOAs for EAD & AP

8/12/08: Rec'd Biometrics appt letter

8/21/08: Biometrics

9/29/08: EAD & AP - approved!!

10/6/08: EAD & AP - received in the mail!

2/06/09: Received interview notice for March 10th!!

3/10/09: Passed interview - husband's GC approved!!! Woohoo!!! :-)

06th November '07 - APPROVED, FINALLY !!!

19th December '07:Medical

20th December '07: Interview Date

21st December '07: VISA IN HAND

18th January '08: Leaving to US !

12th February '08: received SSN

14th March '08: WEDDING DATE

AOS journey:

04th April '08: AOS package sent

11th April '08: Notice date on all 3 NOA's (15 April in the mail)

07th May '08: Biometrics (done)

02nd May '08: Driver's license received

09th May '08: AOS transferred to CSC

15th May '08: AOS is pending at CSC (CRIS email)

18th May '08: AOS touched

04th/09th June '08: EAD Card production ordered (CRIS email) (2 e-mails on different days)

04th June '08: AP approved (CRIS email)

10th June '08: AP in the mail
