Period of Validity?

Hello everyone! My fiancee is usually the one who posts here, but I thought I would today. Anway, she lives in Japan, and we are trying to get a K-1 visa. Our NOA2 letter arrived last month, and now, I'm preparing all the financial support info to send. She'll go have her medical check next week, and then prepare for the injections she needs. She wants to finish all of her injections before coming to the U.S. but since the Hepatitis A and B injections take 6 months to complete, we are concerned if we need to file for an extention. On the example extention letter, it say this...

"It is my understanding that pursuant to 9FAM 41.81 N3.1 (Period of validity), the consulate can extend the approval notice for another 4 months, if my fiancé and I remain legally free to marry and continue to plan to marry after my fiancé enters the United States."

My question is this, how do I find the Period of validity? And how would I write that on the extenstion letter?

I apologize for such a long post, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Is there a reason she "wants" to finish the series in Japan? It's not necessary to do that. It would be so much easier to just finish the series in the US.

The period of validity is on the actual NOA2 you received in the mail. I would contact your specific embassy since they all have their idiosyncracies to make sure you do specifically what they want.

3/5/11 sent LOC paperwork

3/9/11 date of NOA

?/?/?? biometrics appointment

Hi! I apologize for being late to repspond. I found the period of validity listed on the NOA2. I don't know how I overlooked it for so long  Would I just write the period of validity between the parenthesis? I thank everyone for their help and suggestions.
