Advance medical interview.. is it possible?

hi fellow vj's.. my fiance received an email notification of NOA2 already , so now we are waiting for the Immigrant Case Number from manila US Embassy. once we receive our case number and call for medical and interview schedule... is it possible to have the medical interview before the exact date (schedule) of the appointment letter? or it's really necesarry to have medical interview on that specific date that they will give to you?

Your fiance can do her medical anytime after she receives the appointment letter from USEM. The letter doesn't specify nor include a medical appointment date as this will be based on your fiance's availability. From what I've read here, the medical should be done at least a week before the interview happens and or a month before if her schedule permits.

Medical Check up and Vaccinations are in Manila @ St. Lukes if u are US applicant but if u are Australian Visa Applicant she will having her Medical in Velez Hospital in Cebu City.

It takes 2 days. first day is for check ups and on 2nd is her vaccinations.

regarding vaccination, ive read here in VJ that you can take shots early and just present your certification that you already have that shot during medical interview..

it s stated there that, it would be cheaper to take shots in advance in your city/province than at St. Lukes. i thought that medical fee already includes the vaccination fee.... do you need to pay more for each shot?

The shots @ St Lukes are already included on the St Lukes Medical fee..

You need em or not, you basically pay the same..

So why pay and get em advance? If you get em for free @ St Lukes anyways...

My Medical sked was Nov. 29 but I did Nov. 23. .tell your fiance to have a vaccine shots at St. Lukes coz it is included on the whole rate then ask for that record. maybe she needs to wait for the letter for medical and she can go earlier. .I think only St. Lukes medical clinis is the authorized clinis of US embassy,not sure though about Visayas area. Mine took 2 days coz there's a Dr. who interpreted the medical certificate I submitted..

PS..Does your fiancee worked outside in the Phils?coz there's a Police Certificate that she needs to submit during the Interview?
