There are two choices as to when one can attend the CFO seminar. I am contemplating on what is more preferable time to attend the CFO seminar; Is it before the Visa arrived such as doing it simultaneously on the days while having the medical exam in Manila or after the visa arrived on the day before the departure? What are the benefits or inconveniences I will probably encounter if either from those instance I will consider. I'd like to weigh the benefits and the inconveniences for my plan.

I must say it depends where you are residing in the Philippines. If you are just in Manila, I believe anytime is the best time for you.

I come from the province of Mindanao and I would have done it in Manila in between my medical exam and interview, however I was provided with the opportunity to travel to Cebu on a business trip before my medical and interview schedule so I squeezed it in and it only took one day for the seminar, counseling and getting the certificate.

I had my passport stamped in CFO Manila ( In quirino avenue if I remember right) the day before my departure to the USA.

Goodluck on the journey.

The Benefit of getting it when you have your visa is you can do the seminar and the stamping all in one day..

The Benefit of getting the seminar is you can do it anytime without the visa, also when your done with the seminar, all you have to do is get your passport stamped which can take only 15 mins.
