Staashi,

I got my interview letter in Jacksonville, FL the letter states to brings all things that I already sent in. Can you tell me if you needed them? Like the pictures and tax returns again? By the way the letter state it will take 2 hours, I know you said it only took 6 mins, what exactly happen in your interview?

By the way is your case status still online on the USCIS website or did anything change on your status, did you received oath letter yet or did the officer state when you hear about your oath letter?

Hi guys. After a long journey I finally filed on May 27. Please add me to the list.

Here's my timeline:

May 27,2008: Sent Application

May 28,2008: Application received at CSC

May 29,2008: Check cashed

NOA1 never received

June 07,2008: NO2 received (Biometrics appoinment for next week)

Hi aka.racer, it looks like we have very similar timeline. I never received NOA1 either, but just received biometrics notice today with an appointment next week. I tried the application number WSC*...... on uscis' website, it does not work. I wonder whether it will work sometime later, or my case will be just fine like this. Do you know some real case where the case number does not work, but the case was approved just fine?

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced today it has centralized initial processing of all applications for naturalization (Form-400) at its National Benefits Center in Missouri

Cax&JL, my appl. number was written on my check. Need to add WSC*00 to make a 13-digit number. If you are trying to check your status online and it doesn't work, don't panic, many people don't get their number to work and they go through their process just fine.

Mine starts with LIN and I beleive its because my application was sent to LINcoln, Nebraska. I hope that helps...

Yup, for Vermont service center receipt number will start with ESC follows by *.

You can see this on the front side of check. After ESC*, try to add 002 to complete 13 digit. Hope will work for you.

I haven't been online in over a week because I am on vacation in Germany. I received my biometrics letter on the day I left. I immediately typed a letter explaining that I would have to reschedule my appt because I was going to Germany for 12 days. I also added a copy of my itinerary to the letter asking them to schedule the next appt any time after I come back. Did anybody have to reschedule before? How soon did you get your second appt? I am worried they would reschedule my appt right away ignoring my letter. I am only gone for 12 days, but I am afraid I could miss my appt.

Received fingerprint notification today, but not NOA. Is that normal?

Also is the application number on the fingerprint notice the same as the one on NOA? I tried on USCIS web and it doesn't show anything.

I haven't been online in over a week because I am on vacation in Germany. I received my biometrics letter on the day I left. Mine was a very short notice.

Hey! I applied for Naturalization w/ Form N-400 around May 17. I received my first NOA on June 11 saying that they had cashed the $675 dollars check and that within the next 540!!! days, yes! Five Hundred and Forty Five Days I would receive my appointment.

I don't know if that's a typo mistake or what!!!! I hope they'll call sooner! I want to vote!

I also applied to Vermount service center and my NOA says same 540 days. I recived NOA on 9th June. Any one from Vermont service center got his fingerprint letter who has 540 days in NOA?
