How many MENA members still in AP?

So far theres been a lot of visa issuances and I just want to keep track of those in AP right now. Its a list for long or short AP, not necessarily only long time APs.Please add if you are still in AP or if you got clearance and I missed it. This is a shorter version of the visas in hand list and the very long AP list, its just easier to see it this way as many people have been cleared.

I pray we will recieve the visas in May, and looking forward to summer of coarse.

Thanks

Tammy

what does AP stand for?

Associate Press. Just joking. It stand for Administrative Processing. You might hear people talk about AR which stands for Administrative Review.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

Oh, thanks.

but I'm still lost! :o

Oh no! Please don't get lost! Come back, come back! (F)

AP or AR happens after your habeeb or habeeba has his/her interview, and then their application is further processed for security checks, name hits, etc... Sometimes it is completed quickly... in just a few days. Other times, as many here can tell you, it lasts for months or God forbid... even longer.

It is Administrative Limbo, also known as the 8th Layer of Hell. :diablo:

Tammy, thank you so much for creating the list. Thanks for your support and inspiration, too.

Inchallah, May will be a great month for us. (F)

Note: I know about AJ1, its just with recent activity on her case I wanted her not to be in AP anymore :star: and I feel good news is coming for her!

Prayers to all of you, I know how hard this is. But we will get through, I pray to God to have closure on this painful journey, so that finally I can be with my husband here and not have to shed tears night after night. I know you all feel the same way. May will be a good month, that is my wish to God.

Tammy, You know I love you, girl! I am glad you made this ( prayer ) list! Everyone, please know you will get through this. Remain faithful to God, keep your eyes on Him always and as AJ1 said, NEVER give up the fight! Remember you are a lot closer to the visa than what you were yesterday. It will come, maybe not when you want it to, but when God says it is time and He knows best because He knows our future and He does have a plan for each and ever one.

I am adding Pronto to the list.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
