Creating Barcode with James Shortcut not working

I had the same problem. You are probably using internet explorer, security settings could cause the issue. You can use Mozilla Firefox browser and I think it should be ok.

One other solution I discovered recently, you can also use Microsoft Word. Just type in your case number and change the font. Font is called Barcode

Hi All i am trying to create a barcode with James Shortcut but when i click on create barcode it does open a new window but the barcode does not appear. Can please someone walk me through this if they are having any luck using the barcode.

Not all computers have this font. It is not installed by default, at least it isn't in XP or 2000. Even if it is, I'm not sure I'd completely trust it since it could be any barcode symbology, you don't know if it has a check digit in it or not, etc. If you do it this way, try one with the same sample case number used in James's Shortcut example and make sure the barcode ends up exactly the same.

Thanks for your advise bu ti did try mozilla and also deleted my cookies but no luck and i have no font call barcode in my windows vista. I am just trying to save time. if any advise please let me know. thanks to all of you

If you're at work, the firewall is blocking that servlet application. Please try at home and save the image file.

Also, try to right click on the image where it is shown X couple of times, then let me know the status.

Yes i am trying to view the image but no luck, it says the server is taking to long. im trying over and over again

You need the 3 letter consulate abbreviation as well so encode for your entire case number including the letters.

Good to know it works after turning off the firewall. That's what I said on this thread earlier. I think you didn't try what I suggested. Happy :star:

You have to put ISL and all 10 digits, :star:
