Jamericanlove's interview is Sept. 9th

Bailey402's interview is also in September

Lets go yaardie crew!!

 I forgot about these ladies. Even though they are CR1's they both got expedites so their timelines are a bit different. I don't understand whats going on. I think Kishmar may have gotten an expedite too. So this means that they didnt even get to the April cases yet? What in the world is going on over there?! :angry:SIX MONTHS to get an interview?!! What kinda foolishness is this?!! And if they do on average 200 interviews a day, one day a week, thats 800 family based interviews a month!! Last person we know who was CR1 who had a date was Tre's friend with a late March complete date. So are you telling me between late March and late April, they had over 800 cases they scheduled and NON of those cases included Forbes and Tash whos dates are like MID April!!!?

I cannot believe that! And no one at NVC or DOS can give us any sort of information. We cant find out what number we are in the wait or anything. This situation is sucking more and more everyday. I can't even tell Evan about this, I know he'll die hearing this news. UGH!!

So NVC does not go by order of completion...her case was completed after Tash and Forbes...unless it goes by when your file reached NVC and was assigned a file number...that is what i kinda thought from the beginning that it goes by when your file reaches NVC not when your file was completed...because i hear some cases getting sent to the embassy incomplete (after 2 RFEs) and just told to bring docs to interview....

NVC Journey Total days: 75

04.09.2008: Case# assigned

05.12.2008: DS230 Entered into System

06.18.2008: Case Complete (So upset that it took this long 37days)

US Embassy:

10.29.2008: Interview Date Assigned

11.17.2008: Medical Appointment

12.03.2008: Interview Date (FINALLY!!!)**APPROVED**

12.08.2008: Visa Delivered

12.21.2008: POE JFK

NVC does go by when your case was recieved not complete. Kish was filed for years ago, but her husband was a LPR so once he got US citizenship the case upgraded. Her case has been at NVC for a long time (like years) cause of the LPR wait. So her timeline is still confusing to figure out what dates they are on for scheduling interviews. We need to find someone who has a USC track for NVC to see what dates they are on. However, it does seem that since Kish got done at the end of April they are at least doing cases complete from somewhere in there. Forbes and Tash both received NVC cases on the same day in January 08, but their cases werent complete til like mid April 08. Thats over 3 month. I was at NVC for less than 2 so I dont really know what I'm trying to say (lol), just trying to pass the time. I didnt expect a date til October anyway, but at this rate it may not be til December!

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't come in here for awhile. But no I did not receive an interview date. It's just getting more depressing. But Hubby and I are hanging in there. The rate how things going, we might end up getting a IR1 - Nov 9 will be out 2nd year Anniversary, which is not a bad thing but I really was looking forward for an early interview date. I will keep the room posted.

What's the difference, Tash? You get a 10 year GC instead of a 2?

Yeah she will. And Tash if I was you I would go that route. Even if you get an interview in October, I think so long as you pass POE after your 2 year mark you will get the 10 year visa. That is the way to go!! You'll be done with this madness and wont have to pay to lift conditions or deal with the pain of proof an lifting conditions and such. Its only 2 months away. Go for it!

Updated for Sunny. Shanette, I took your name off cause I noticed your case is not complete yet. Your case is complete after your DS-230 has been logged as accepted. When it gets accepted you can update here.

Marlita, you can update for Jamericanlove and Bailey402. I think they have and interview date in September!
