05/12/2007 - NOA1 received by snail mail after a loooong wait

05/14/2007 - Sent I-129F for K3 to Chicago Lockbox via USPS Express Mail

10/22/2007 - I129F APPROVED (161 days), I130 APPROVED (188 days)

11/08/2007 - I129F received at NVC, embassy case number generated.

11/13/2007 - I129F forwarded to embassy.

11/18/2007 - 129F petition received at embassy

01/09/2008 - finally, DOS gives me the interview date, April 16, 2007 (ouch)

01/23/2008 - never got packet 4, emailed embassy

04/11/2008 - picked up packet 4, did medical

04/14/2008 - medical report pickup, no problems

04/16/2008 - interview date- APPROVED!!!!!

04/18/2008 - both of us are home at last, POE JFK!

05/21/2008 - sent AOS and EAD

05/27/2008 - received NOA1 for AOS and for EAD

06/02/2008 - received Biometrics appt letter

06/19/2008 - Biometrics appointment scheduled - DONE

06/19/2008 - both AOS and EAD touched because of biometrics

07/29/2008 - EAD approved.

Dr.Bill Congrats...I think you really need to go home lol ..........b/c you are approved ~~~ minus 7 months earlier lol :P you have not mailed your I-130 (your timeline says 11/08 ) yours got approved even before you mail the application .. :o:):P;) amaging lol......

ummmmm CSC is faster than Space shuttle lol ...any have congrats

08/29/08 DS-230 generated

09/02/08 DS-230 and required documents mailed

09/03/08 DS-230 form arrives at NVC per usps

09/15/08 CASE COMPLETE(32 days no RFE)

10/15/08 sent to consulate

11/10/08 Medical PASSED

20th May 2008 - Received Hard Copy NOA2

7th Jan 2008 - Sent I 129 F to CSC

10th Jan 2008 - Received by CSC

18th Jan 2008 - Received NOA 1

16th May 2008 - Approved (NOA2 in 130 days )

18th May 2008 - Touch (Guess its been sent to USCIS mail room)

Congratulations, we are happy for you. Did you get a status change online? My son's I-130 is still "pending" and we have been touched several times lately with no change in status online.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

Kansas City, yes i got an online update, i went on just out of curiosity to see if we got another touch and BAm i seen the approval. as far as my step=son's I-130 yes it has always been tied to Ekaterina's. only time i had an issue , and it was'nt an issue is when i received HIS noa ! before hers,,,but was a simple mail delay. same date same service center.

as a side note, i do not know if this effected the time or not...being so fast..but my attorney said she filed all the petitions at the national benefits center and did not mail directly to the chicago lock box or the california service center. Since i was clueless when we started i trusted her judgement and it seems to have paid off. if anybody wants her name and number i would gladly give it, she did a thurough job in my opinion
