Following some hilarious postings from Lotopatience and Sgr, I thought I'd start a thread to help keep our spirits up

We all know that VSC is making us all feel as though we're at the roulette table, which is not good in my case, as I'm not particularly good at roulette ..... also, I'm running out of small change and I've got crappy luck .... so, I'm guess I'll be at the roulette table just onlooking the winners for a while longer

But sgr's comment of 'Immigration Stress Disorder' was quite something else ..... so, I'd like everyone to start listing their bizarre ISD syptoms and see if we may have actually come up with something plausable here.

I'll start with the odd dreams of being touched by someone I don't know with a Vermont Service Centre badge

Plus, I get a bit panicky if I don't log onto VJ a couple of times a day in case I miss something

And, everytime I log onto the USCIS website, I feel I must be psycic, as I always know that it's a waste of time ... but I can't help myself ..... and low and behold, there's the stupid 02/24/08 date staring right at me!! ..... doh!

I know I'm not the only one ..... so what strange stuff is everyone doing ??? ..... don't be shy, and try and put it in some form of humourous fashion

I dont know what I am doing anymore, just take drugs every day to numb myself to this insane journey. When I have that lapse of one hour between the old drugs wearing off and the new ones in, I apply to USCIS for a job telling that I will approve every application I can - now talk about being productive. I mean get the numbers up there right?

The stress.......its made me delusional in me thinking.

Ok so i gues my sickness is classified as IMMIGRATION STRESS DISORDER.

are their any doctors out here with us stuck at VSC also.. can u prescribe us somethin..

here are my disorder sysmptoms

-Log into VJ site and keep myslef logged in check every 10 -30 min to see any updates.. if i go 30 min without checkin VJ site i freak out.. like when i come back from ameeting at work.. i would refresh the page to see whats going on

-check my email to see if there is an email FROM CRIS

-log into uscis online even though its useless.. jus to see the 2/24/08 date staring right back at me....HAUNTING me

- work productions ggoes slow sometimes since im addiced to VJ

i have a case of addiction at VJ...

When I have that lapse of one hour between the old drugs wearing off and the new ones in, I apply to USCIS for a job telling that I will approve every application I can - now talk about being productive. I mean get the numbers up there right?

The stress.......its made me delusional in me thinking.

Well done SusieK, it's nice to know that we're not the only ones losing the plot .... c'mon everyone, we all know that you're feeling the pressure and doing odd things ..... just scribble them down, you'll feel a lot better

The only cure for our sickness is an approval and we need USCIS doctors to prescribe it.They just have too many patients and apparently not enough doctors to treat them.

Useless System of Constant Information Source aka USCIS

Actually I have these vivid dreams and all I see is "we want more of your time, life and blood to make you go insane" on a protest sign outside my house -

I awaken and say oh thank god - just a dream and then I realize that half of the people I know from VJ have the same posted sign outside their homes. Thinks back to the times when the family value issue was placed high on the list and spouses and or fiance or children were a priority. Now it has become YOU ARE ALL IN FOR A ROUND OF PURE TORTURE FOR THE NEXT YEAR...and we will keep you guessing as to what we are doing. New marketing plan to increase website traffic to USCIS. (wonders what type of hits they get on their website per day)

Sighs, orders more drugs They think its so right to approve at will, and yet they preach FIFO - dont think so mates. And feels the pain for so many of the people here that are still waitng - shakes head, and orders double strength on the meds. Then wonders about contacting ACLU - thats my main obsession right now -

Tis sad mates, really sad what has happened to our system in so many different area. Ya know the saying " I have fallen and can't get up" - so it seems the way with our government.

I've goodluck charms hanging around, and I've taken up religion in hope it will get USCIS to hurry up ..... not just one religion .... ALL of them, that way I thought I'd cover every base ..... some days I don't know whether to pray to one God or five .... wear an orange robe .... give all my money to charity in hope something good will happen .... drink some wine .... tinkle some bells .... or avoid pork.

All rabbits run away from me now incase they end up without paws .... and my lucky socks are just about worn through .... I'm sure I've single handedly pushed up the trading rate on wax due to the amount of candles I've been burning ..... and I've made little pin cushion dolls to stand for all those who work for USCIS and are NOT working on I-130's ...... I hope they speed up the system soon because I'm exhausted

Other than the usual ritual of checking visajourney in every 30 minutes and checking USCIS page every morning (though I am good at it, I check that only once a day).

Now the guilt part..........well you know, one of those astrology forums, where people give out free consultancy, well I did put out our(me and hubby) infos (birthdate..etc) and asked how soon thigns will happen and who will move where, even if he moves to India I am damn ready to embrace that.............but my shitty luck, not a single person answered my board question , so I guess we will live this online marriage for another 20 years to come
