Hi all,

OK, so the formForm DS-230 is 4 pages long but on the literature that came with the packet 3 it says "you only need to complete page 1 and 2". And if I am to fill out page 1 and 2 do I return all 4?

Is this right for the US Fiance visa?

I'm about to send this off so any help would be great!!!

R

Only Part 1 of the DS230 (first two pages) get completed and sent back to the consulate with packet 3. Part 2 (pages 3 & 4) will get completed, sworn to and signed in front of the CO at your interview.

I posted all 4 but obviously they really only need the info on the first two pages.

I heard back from the Embassy yesterday and I have an interview on April 28th. They confirmed that I could use the original Affadavit of Support form that we originally completed when we applied for the I-129F. They already have these on file so I'm just waiting for the Police certificate too. I panicked so paid the £70 instead of the £35. It's only money!

Good luck with your filing. I think it took them a week from me sending the packet 3 to them replying with a date. INterview date is 2 weeks after receiving packet 4. That info might help you in your planning.

Wow!!! That's fast. So we can expect a month more or less. I put down entry date of August 1st so they might let us drift as we aren't doing it that soon.

I sent my packet 3 back by gauranteed delivery and I read somewhere this morning that that cuases delays ...

When I check on Royal Mail's website it says "Your item with reference blahblahblah has reached its PO Box and is awaiting collection/delivery." What worries me is that I didn't write a PO Box number on the envelope. Strange.

Any delays I'll flag it up!!!
