Hey everyone,

Well, we sent our packet 3 in on like March 28th, and are just waiting for packet 4, and for our interview date!

Anyone in the same situation as us? Let's keep in touch!!

Good luck everyone!

It took about 1 month for us to receive the packet 4. You can also send the embassy an email requesting for an update. They will let you know your interview date if one is already scheduled for you. We found out our interview date about 2 weeks before we got the packet 4 in the mail.

Its all for LOVE..

Yup, we sent our Packet 3 into the Embassy around the exact same time, I just emailed the embassy again asking if they had received it yet and what our date is. Usually they respond in 2 days, last they sent to me a week ago they didn't have it yet, but they said they are currently scheduling interviews for July... which is much later than I was thinking... oh well, as long as we get to be together sometime relatively soon I'll be happy. Good luck and let me know you find out for your date, I'll be curious to see if we have the same date.

Hello All,

We asked for an update regarding Packet 3/4. The response we received was:

"The IV Unit of the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok received the mailed Packet 3 materials from you through the mail on May 9, 2008. The interview appointment has not been scheduled. Due to the large volume of applicants, normally, the interview appointment will be scheduled for an applicant after we received the returned Packet 3 in about 12 – 16 weeks later. By that time, we will notify you by mail."

Does this mean that they won't try to schedule the interview until after 12-16 weeks? Or just that the interview will take place between 12-16 weeks after receiving back Packet 3 materials?

Thanks!

10/12/07 - I-129F sent to CSC

10/17/07 - NOA1 notice date

02/26/08 - Touched

02/27/08 - NOA2 received online
