my interview was March 26.. based on successul interviews here in VJ, visa takes like 3-7days? so my fiance bought me a ticket hoping 3weeks++ after my interview is enough already/safe to wait for my visa :(

I really don't know....but my guess is that "document verfication" is holding you up as so many others are now finding out. Just another reason for others to wait to get a plane ticket until you have the visa in hand. It used to be that you could count on getting your visa in a week to ten days if you passed, but not anymore. Now you can "pass" the interview and be approved, but still wait a month or longer for document verification.

Buying a ticket before the visa is in hand is always a gamble, but now it has become even harder to guess-timate when you can fly away from the Phils. I don't say that to chastize the OP as much as to remind others of the risk of doing what they did. I know its hard to wait even another day longer, but if you choose to play with fire, sometimes you're gonna get burned.

I really don't think going to the USE will help if you are waiting on document verification or are in some type of AR. In my opinion, you just need to wait until its released. What number did you call at the USE in Manila? When I called, I got a live person....Lorraine I think was her name. It did not seem to be a call center with standard answers. She was able to look up our case and help us. I believe its the phone number is in Sheriff Uling's forum signature or the guide too.

I wish you the best of luck and hope your visa will arrive in time.

Scott

You can try calling the consulate office as some beneficiaries have been able to get information. Most likely, Grace will refer you to the information center. If your fiancee calls the consulate office Grace or Lorraine will inform him/her as to where the visa process is at.

I will bet you paid the document verification fee when you had your interview and are now waiting for that to be completed. Did you pay 2 fees? one for delbros delivery and then 650php for document verification?

If you paid the document verification fee at your interview, then you could be waiting from 3 to 6 weeks.

Don't hold your breath of it getting there in time for your flight make alternate plans just in case. We have been waiting for 28 days so for and still no visa. All I get when I call is they say its still being reviewed or still processing.

Good luck to us both.

did u pay for visa delivery at the usem? if u do then perhaps u can track it at their website using trackway bill. track it using your mnl case number with 01 office hours manila time. or call this number 5286300 ext 5184 or 5185, its hard to get thru so be patient.did u text delrbos at their hotline text number for approved visa delivery? i dont think ure on AR for doc verification, coz u didnt get the white slip like what I and others had. call robbie at delbros and tell him your concern and he will transfer u to another number which is i think loc 127. or perhaps, call delbros and ask for local 127.

I think the reason for the delay is your passport, right. Coz they asked you to renew it first bring it back to USEM...congrats!
