So many of us are waiting forever on CSC again. It isn't bad enough they take longer to look at it. Now they are seeming trying to hold us up again. When was your Noa2 ? How long have you been waiting ?

Hi!

We were approved on March, 21st as well.

My fiance e-mailed NVC on April 1st. On April 4th, I called and talked to an officer. She was very nice, but said it takes from 2 to 4 weeks to recieve the case and suggested trying to call again on April 21st.

After that they sent a reply to our e-mail, saying they hadn't received our case yet.

It looks like there are a lot of us in the same boat again. :(

Good luck to everyone.

Tasha

It does get pretty annoying that as west coasters we get a lessor service than those that are on the east coast. Our petitions take longer to be approved, they are held for unreasonable times before being forwarded. East cosaters are getting their SO'd in counrty while our petition hasn't even made it to the east coast. :(

Sylvia_n_Joseph,

it's not easy to wait, but look at the bright sides. We've waited the longest part already.

Every day brings us closer to our loved ones.

Two weeks is nothing comparing to the rest of the life. (Of course, it still seems like forever  )

See my recent thread about the black hole between CSC and NVC. I was approved on Feb. 4. I had a very productive call with a representative from the CSC yesterday, and she said that it is indeed not uncommon at the moment for there to be a delay of 1 to 2 months from approval until receipt at the NVC.

Yeah, there's a few of us all approved about the same time who haven't gotten to NVC yet from CSC. It indeed isn't fair. And if you look at Igors statics for approvals the last couple of weeks, and considering that CSC is supposedly waiting till the "buckets" fill up before transporting them to NVC, it might be a WHILE before the buckets fill up

I wonder about the work-ethic at CSC. It is an archaic government organization that can't be shaken. It is beyond annoying. But, hey, we have our processing times to stick to. We are going to make sure that you wait atleast 4 months to be approved, and the six month window is going to be reached, whether by waiting at CSC, or in transit between CSC and NVC. Our processing window is 6 months, and we are gonna stick by it, one way or another

Am I angry? No, no. There's nothing tangible to be angry at.

Apparently there are new contractors working in the mailroom at CSC and incoming mail received in the mailroom is taking up to 4 weeks to reach it's recipient...probably true for the outgoing mail too.

I spent just as much money to file a K1 visa. There is no good reason that I should be waiting on CSC laziness while people at the other center are enjoying being with their SO. If they decided to stop processing VSC until CSC caught up you would hear the screaming all acros the country. The excuse of I will soon be enjoying the rest of my life together is lame. I almost died not to long ago from an undetected medical condition. What if the "rest of my life" is 6 months. Why should I get only 2 months instead of 5 ?

March 21st here too! Or was it 23rd!

Either way I haven't called them yet and after reading all these posts I wont bother for a week or so.

Again VSC lead the way.

I've seen some that were received like only 2 days after NOA2 from VSC.

Sucks Balls huh?

I guess we should be grateful that we're just waiting for the NVC to receive them.

Some unlucky folk on here are still waiting on NOA2's from way back when.

Let's all keep our heads up and wish for the best for everyone.

FYI The best times to call the NVC are early in the morning or near midnight (eastern time).

And this is unacceptable. The ONLY thing that needs to be done after approval is for them to MAIL the papers to the NVC. Their is no reason or process that would justify a 1-2 month delay. And there is no reason someone should have to go through the hell you did to find out the status of your application. It was crazy what they put you through.

I'm sorry to hear about your condition. I really hope everything will clear up soon and your health will become better!

However, I was not trying to make an excuse for CSC. I was talking about attitude. Obsession over unfairness of the process is not going to change the situation and is not going to help while waiting. It will just make you more and more frustrated.
