Wondering Why are my Petition still being touched??

I am wondering why are my petition still being touched, We were approved 3/26/08 for our I-130. Online it still is saying Case still pending, so I called USCIS and they are really messed-up there cause they said my case was sent to NVC on 3/25...But last week they told me they would be sent this week....What the Heck????? But both my I-130 and I-129F were touched on 4/4 & 4/8.... They should be on their way to NVC by now....

Who that were approved around the date I was have gotten their case number already assigned by NVC??? Are you still being touched by USCIS????

Nita,

Call NVC and just put in your EAC or WAC number and see if its there - I called this morning did the automated thing and yes we have a case number as of last night - so try this - and we had one touch after approval on the I-130 but other than that they are molesting the I129f alot but I dont care about that one.

So you can call 24/7 and see if its there luv. No need to speak to anyone yet. Just keep hitting the darn buttons like we did at USCIS./

You are at CSC - they take forever to get the application to Visa Center but sending big prayers and hugs to you read your pm xxx and thanks hun...we are going to go thru this one together. Spoke with lawyer today, told me to get Tax transcipt etc etc and all that good stuff together, so it sorta felt real for the first time. Yikes, USCIS never wish that on anyone. CSC is a week or two behind VSC - in sending!

Same here, I was told by USCIS rep. that my case was forwarded March 27th where I got a touched on line. But, when I called today and talked to a different rep. the guy said it was sent yesterday. Just hope they really sent it yesterday

Have Nita and Sarudoshi received NOA2 hardcopy? Until you receive that I would guess that you may not really be approved....I have heard of people getting stuck in AP after NOA2 and before NVC. Not sure what the AP is all about there.

Hi Marlita... Actually yes I have received 2 hard copies of my NOA2, one I received on 3/31 dated 3/26, and the other I received 4/4 dated 3/31... My actual date approved was 3/26 per USCIS. I did call NVC today and spoke with a live person they advise to give it 2 to 4 weeks after the approval date until they receive it from USCIS and inputed in their system. So I guess I still need to be more patient!

This waiting is killing me!! I want to get the process started already I just postponed another trip to see my hubby so we can get the process going and this is driving me even more emotional!!!
