hello to everyone.

I need your kind advice on what to bring to the interview:

I have sent all the original civil documents with DS-230 so on my appointment letter package, it says "Yes/Reviewed/Complete" besides all the originals and forms.

now my question is that what to bring to interview? here is what I have so far,

- Appointment letter

- valid passport

- medical envelop with x-ray envelope

- Xpresspost envelope

- pics of us together, some b-cards, and online msn chat printouts with date and time.

- pics of me 2" by 2"

now, my question is:

We had my husband's father as a co-sponsor since my husband's income was not sufficient. ( note: in appointment package..it says "yes/reviewed/complete" beside the I-864 form) Now for this, do I need to bring anything particular that they might ask to see regarding this financial thing?

thank you in advance,

pari

There should be a checklist that indicates what you should bring but you should have the most current tax extract from the IRS for your sponsor and co-sponsor. That's about it, except for yourself. You'd be surprised how many people forget to bring themselves. :P

Hi Parnita,

Not sure if this will help, but I am the sponsor and I will be bringing an updated I-864 as well as a copy of my W2 and tax return for 2007 to my husbands interview. Since the interview is occuring after April 15th tax deadline, I don't want to take the chance of them requesting this info and my husband not having it.
