Hi all,

Does anyone have an interview on April? Please post here and also the result. Mine is April – 24. I will leave this country on Saturday. I wish she will get a pink slip. Otherwise, I will be the one turn in a blue/green slip.

It looks good except for a couple of things which could be just the way you worded it.

1. Folder A:

D. DS-230 part one (you should also have part two filled out. The Appointment letter may have not said anything about it but "just in case" have it filled out.)

E. Passport photos (Do you have 5 passport photos? At Thi's interview they wanted another passport photo for the passport besides the 4 in the letter. )

4 Folder D:

A Timeline of third trip (unless you meant to write "Timeline of the three trips, I would have a timeline of all trips/emails/phone calls etc. )

If you put everything in your evidence folders in order, oldest first, then I think your evidence is about as ready as you can be.

Can we be April interview wannabees? Thought we would be there right behind you Haonie, but that apparently ain't gonna happen. I know a woman (not a VJ member) who has her interview on the 9th. My fiancee is in almost daily contact with her and I talk regularly with her fiance, a man from upstate NY. I will post all I find out in a couple of days. Good luck.

1. Folder A While the Appointment letter (Packet 4) doesn't say to fill it out, we did just because it we didn't want to not have it in case they asked for it.

If any of the recent interviewers would post about the 5th photo (posted on the outside of the Consulate in the waiting area) and single certificate, that would be great.....As I'm still confused about what the Consulate wants sometimes..... Also please submit your reviews of your interview in your timeline.

4. Folder D I understand, since you already have submitted those timelines in your I-129f, the Consulate should be aware of them.

I think you're set to go and I won't be surprised if the interview went well. I just read Lucas's review of his fiancee Chan's interview. He also had spent lots of time preparing his evidence, only to have Consulate Officer (a man) ask a few questions then didn't look at any of the evidence Chan brought and handed her the pink slip. May your fiancee's interview go as smoothly!

Update.

My fiancée called 2 ppl today. They all failed at an interview “blue slip”.

Case 1: American

This girl (live at Nha Trang) has been known her fiancée for 4 years. He (American) flew to Vietnam 1 time, that its. No engagement party at all, few pictures together, no letters at all, yahoo chat logs just only few pages.

At the interview:

Q: how do you know your fiancée?

A: Sir, I met him on yahoo chat.

Q: What room did you first time chat?

A: Sir, I could not remember.

Q: How many times did he visit you?

A: Sir, only 1

Q: Could you show me your evidence?

A: Yes sir.

Consular: blue slip gave out.

1.Need to know what is the room you and your fiancée first time chat?

2.Need more evidences on-going relationship

Case 2: Vietnamese

This girl lives at Long Xuyen province

They have known each other for 2 years.

At the interview:

Q: How did you meet your fiancée?

A: Sir, I met fiancée through my relatives in Vietnam

Q: How did you communicate?

A: Sir, by phone

Q: Has your fiancé married before?

A: No sir

Q: Madam, I will ask you 1 more time. Has your fiancée ever married before?

A: Sir, as of my knowledge, he has never married

Consular: Madam, let me tell you this, your fiancée did married before.

Consular: Blue slip gave out

1.Need divorce certificate

2.Address and phone number of his previous wife

3.Letter from previous wife saying they are not living together.

She was so angry and get mad because her fiancé hidden his married before. She tried to call him, but he didn’t pick it up. She then tried to call home phone and his mom told her the whole story (because lah…lah...he did not want to hurt your feeling and lah…lah...).

Darn, why the heck he did not let his fiancé know about his previous married.

I have 2 more coming in a week and will share with you all.

I just had a conference call with my fiancee & the woman who has her interview tomorrow. I drilled her with questions as I thought the consulate might ask so she could practice. She is very nervous. Her English is not too bad, and I hope she can understand the interviewer in English. She could understand me very well when I spoke deliberately, but had a little trouble when I spoke more rapidly & casually on purpose. Hopefully, she will have no problems understanding in person.

I will post news about her and her questions as soon as I know them. I, along with all of you I am sure, wish her good luck.

Update. Case 1, Case 2, and Case 3 (all yesterday)

Case 3: Vietnamese

This girl “Hong” lives at Dist.3, Saigon. Her fiancé lived in Vietnam for 1 year. He tried to help his family ran the business over there. They’ve been known for 2 year while he was there.

At the Interview:

Q: On what situation did you meet your fiancé?

A: I first time met my fiancé since the first day I started to work at his family’s business

Q: How long did he stay in Vietnam?

A: He stayed in Vietnam for 1 year

Q: Wow, a year? How could he make money for living?

A: His family pays him for what he did

Q: Did he pay tax?

A: Yes, here is the tax’s receipt

Q: Could you prove me his family business?

A: Yes sir, here is a business license, tax return for 2 years

Q: What is your occupation?

A: I’m accountant. I graduated in Accountant Major.

Q: Did you bring your degree/certificate with you?

A: Yes sir. Here you are

Consular: Your case looks very good. Congratulations, your visa has approved and Welcome to America, make sure you and your fiancé must get marry in 90 when you arrive to the USA.

Hong: Thank you very much Sir.

The Pink slip was given out.

Nice interview huh? I wish mine go smooth like this girl.

I got word early this morning that our friend, em Thùy, received her pink slip. I will post her interview questions as soon as I know them. Em Thùy said that the actual interview was much easier than my practice interview for her! That is the way it is supposed to work!

Wow. that was a good new. Can't wait for my turn. I tried to collected over 100 interview questions. Can't think of anything now. We have friend "Bich" from Ca Mau province, have an interview tomorrow. But, I'm very sure that she will get blue slip (no letters, 7 picutures together, no email, no thing). Plus, she didn't seem care to pass an interiview, she is not ready yet (my fiancee spoke with her yesterday). I will post the outcome soon.

Look ppl get pink slip, I can't image, what the heck I will do when my fiance raise the pink slip...
