You can't find an electric kettle that just plugs into the wall. Everyone I know makes tea by putting a mug of water into the microwave. Blecchh!

We bought one in Macy's Home Store in February! Its our favorite kitchen appliance!

Prior to that we used the kettle on the stove. I don't get the whole microwaving water thing.

Hubby bought me a kettle BEFORE I came over. Simply because I used a hot water bottle at night in the Winter and I really didn't fancy boiling all that on the stove...

When people ask me if I'm Irish because I have red hair and blue eyes. #######?

:o What you mean you're not Irish??? I always thought red hair + blue eyes = Irish.

No I'm not. See you made the same mistake! :P

..... when you ask for lemonade and get squash :) lemonade is fizzy i tell you

Lemonade is fizzy????

Lemonade in the UK is something like Sprite or 7-Up or Sierra Mist here.

I did not know that!! Guess I never had it while I was over there.

Yep, our lemonade in the UK has never seen or been waved near a lemon in it's entire life. :D

My husband thinks putting letters in the mailbox and putting up the flag is about the greatest idea we've had yet. Aside from free refills and genuinely fair prices on most everything! Oh and IHOP.:D
