You can't find an electric kettle that just plugs into the wall. Everyone I know makes tea by putting a mug of water into the microwave. Blecchh!

We bought one in Macy's Home Store in February! Its our favorite kitchen appliance!

Prior to that we used the kettle on the stove. I don't get the whole microwaving water thing.

Hubby bought me a kettle BEFORE I came over. Simply because I used a hot water bottle at night in the Winter and I really didn't fancy boiling all that on the stove...

I knooooooow!! I think that's just awesome. I remember when I first got here I was driving all over the place looking for a postbox. When my husband came home I was complaining to him about it and saying "Where do you mail your letters?" He looked at me and said "You put it in the mailbox." "Oh."
