Hello JV Petitioners.

I have a question on VSC processing. As you can see from my time lines, we recently filed the 2 petitions, and already the waiting is grueling, what I want to ask, does anyone out there think I may have a NOS#2 on any of the 2 petitions by September.? I have been apart from my husband since Dec. 2, 2007 and I know its truly not long, but to me and him its been a eternity. Im planning to leave U.S.A. Sept 5th for a trip to Paris, to see my husband and hopefully make a baby, for Im not spring chicken, Im 43, and I have a great careeer in the import section for over 15 years here in Houston, I have worked "with" not for USC and I know there is no hurry up in the world of DHS.

Is there a chance of any kind of a approval by September??? Otherwise, I feel I may give up my world here, and make a new world in Paris, which sounds good, but I do not speak the language, and I love my country. But my heart is elsewhere.

Thank you for listening, and any advice would be greatful.

Paris Heart

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

The time for entire process could take around 10 months since filing. Right now, it would be painful to wait since both hearts are separated apart, but if you think for long term this would be a small time fraction. Also, I hate USCIS !

Well if I went on VSC information from VJ immigration timelines you will get a NOA2 by this summer the latest. Most likely on your I130, this is the better petition.

May your journey be expedited and smooth!

Hi Paris Heart, I understand the time issue with the baby thing, I too am in the 'over 35' bracket and realise that every month counts ..... and am worried that this waiting could make the difference between having a baby or not.

I have considered contacting a Fertility Clinic and seeing if a letter from a Specialist would make VSC hurry up, as I know the clinic would want me on the books 'yesterday'! But am in 2 minds as to whether or not VSC would actually care, especially after reading that people were turned down for other expedites which were more pressing.

But, reading your post has really reminded me that this is an issue, and I'm wondering if it may be worth a try.

Maybe the person who gets the expedite request might understand the dilemma, and I think it may be worth you attempting it too.

Well I hope that you will get an approval by september, but I have been waiting since july of 2007 at VSC.

Just to give you an idea of the waiting.

But anything is possible, or not possible with these people, so you never know.

Good luck.

Hello Sarah,

Thank you for your caring . wonderful words, they helped. As far as the Baby and USICS, Hon, they do not care. There are folks who are married, have a child and still were refused. BUT..... I understand yur husband is military, that right there gets you a quicker interview, you will not be turned down. And besides your still very young to have a child, you have time Dear. As I stated, Ive work "with "U.S. Customs for over 15 years as a Customs Broker in the import section, and know how they work, even though USCIS is a branch of DHS, they are work the same . SLOW. I only wish I knew someone in immigration, ha ha anyways,

You have nothing to worry about on your petitions, for me I know a baby would not speed things up, its our heart that is aching for a child. My husband just told me to come to Paris and lets make a child Sept 5th, so I just purchased my ticket, I wish you and yours the very best of what life has for you.

Paris Heart

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.
