Congrats on your case being transferred to your embassy. Was your consulate an appointment or standard processing post? This is to determine what you will need at the interview. Did you have to submit any documents to the NVC?

Congratulations!!

You do not provide enough information for any VJers to help you. The guides will tell you you need a copy of everything during the USCIS process. You will probably need your spouse to fill out an I-134, need a DS-156 and DS-157, but some documents will depend upon your Embassy/Consulate.

Check out your Embassy website and/or update your timeline so someone is able to help you.

Congrats bigtime to you, and also to Nick and Nadia!! :star:

We are only at the beginning of our K3 process (filed this month) so reading about fantastic news like this, is such a nice change from all the negative things i've been reading about K3 on this forum...

Enjoy the NVC approval rush (I was already partying over our I-129F NOA1 so I can't imagine what NVC approval must be like) and I hope you get your visas really fast now.

To whomever is still waiting, hang in there (like the rest of us).

Congrats!!

Embassy will send your spouse instructions on what is needed.

You will definitely need Certified English translations of Birth Certificates, Marriage Cert, Divorce decrees (if any) and police certificates from all cities your spouse lived in since 16.

M&K or anyone else that knows this:

Do you know if the Embassies/Consulates require birth/marriage certificates to be less than a certain age? I mean is there an "expiration date" for them, so that if you were waiting for a while before getting the USCIS approval, do you have to request new ones? Or are they not that picky?
