Hi K1inCincy,

I don't want to break your hopes but if you filed in January at CSC it can take a while longer. I filed in October and still waiting

Good luck in your journey

Well, we're filed in December at CSC and we got approved after 97 days. Maybe there is hope!!!!! I crossing my fingers for you guys!!!! Hopefully you'll get it sooon!!!!! :D

Well thanks to everyone that posted. I think this is a really cool site. Honestly though it's not the news that I wanted, but atleast now I know. When we started out on this k1 visa we were really hopeful, but now....well I just expect the worst. I have been here in Canada with them since November, but I have to leave at the end of the week. I won't lie this is depressing. It would be nice if it did come soon, but I doubt it lol. I'm not getting my hopes up just to get let down. But honestly thanks for your responses.

Hey K1incincy.

I agree this is a really cool site. You get free advice from people whose only objective is to help one another out. Everyone on here is going through the same process as you and we are all here to help. I don't want to be negative, but I think you should have a long talk with that lawyer of yours and tell him that you want him to explain his reasoning to you. I have a lawyer as well and he always tells me the worst case scenario numbers of how long it's going to take.

We don't want you to expect the worst!! You should expect the best and good things will happen! You JUST started your journey and you need to think positive or this process will be long and drawn out (it already is but it's easier with a good attitude).

It's very depressing but just remember once you are finished with the process, you'll never have to do this ####### again and you guys will be together forever!

Hey littleasianman7,

Thats a good point and it's very true. If I wouldn't have been told anytime by my lawyer then I would not be so depressed right now. I think later today I will call and have a long talk with him and see whats going on. Thanks again!
