Hey guys,

We have come so far by getting the NOA2 in March, and I am just really worried about the financial situation I am in.

I am a full time student and have never had a full time job for one consecutive year. I have had jobs off and on and I am going to have a job soon. Do you think this will affect anything? I have a co-sponsor who meets the criteria, as she is supporting right now a household of 3 (me, my sister and herself) and my sister and I are both dependents of her AND by dad (my mom and dad are still married).

My co-sponsor makes 40,000/year, and I believe she is well over the criteria for supporting a household of 4 (4 including my fiance).

Do you think the govt. will be okay with this, or will me not having a job hurt us? As long as I have a co-sponsor who meets the criteria/exceeds the criteria we should be good right?

Also, do you think we should include assets, etc., or is it not necessary?

Has anyone been in the same situation as me?

Thanks so much you guys are SO helpful!!!!!!!!!

As long as your co-sponsor meets the guidelines you should be all set. ;)

You shouldnt need any other documents but because every consulate is different you may want to check with others who have gone through Thailand to see if they require anything more from you or your co-sponsor.

Take a deep breath...and smile. :) You're almost there!

As long as you have a cosponsor you should be fine.

Don't forget, as the primary sponsor you still need to fill out the I-134.

I am also a college student- but I currently have 3 jobs. Do I include letters of employment and my tax returns along with the I-134?

Also- my parents file taxes jointly and so will they both be my co-sponsors? Or will one parent have to satisfy the requirements alone? Thanks!!
