Unique Situation - Can someone advise

Here is what I'm worried about, my job, address and assets have been very scattered since I try living abroad to be with her.

Employment:

Current - been there 2 months make 70k/year

Previous - July 07-Dev 07 (Different State) - self employed for 19k for the year

- Sept 06 - July 07- I was traveling 3 countries without any income or permanent address

All others are okay prior to that.

Is this something I should worry about since I didn't have "steady" income and address for a over a year?

Also, since I left to "live" abroad in sept 06 I do not have any back accounts and If I open one I would probably have very little money in there since I just started working. Is there a minimum amount of money I need to have in the bank? Does it matter that the account will be very new when I apply .. like less than a month?

And... I am probably switching jobs during the application process to something that pays about the same amount per year but in a different city. Should I even consider this?

thanks in advance.

All the consulate will be concerned with is your current income and employment situation at the time of her interview, which should be reflected in the affidavit of support. Your past employment history doesn't matter, and if you are well over the 125% poverty guideline (which you should be, unless you have a lot of people depending on you) then your bank information is also unnecessary.

Great - thanks -- I thought that was the case but I wanted to have someone else tell me that - thanks again!
