Does anyone have an idea on this issue??? File I-129F in july 07 with NOA1 IN JULY 07, got NOID in december, and responded to NOID (imbra waiver) in Dec 07 which the CSC center recieved jan 9, 08, and stated I should recieve a decision with 60 days but now 60 days have passed with no approval response OR no NOA2. I tried to contact them several time with no meaning reason or excuse why they haven't decided on my case other taahn one rep said they dong background check, other said its security check. But to my knowledge NVC does security check after NOA2 correct me if I 'm wrong. Now I 'm in an indefinite waiting game with no clue what is next with my case. I have filed K-3 before which wasnt approved at embassy level (no visa issuesd) and when filing out the K-1 i declare that I had file k-3 before and now they put me under imbra, now I am thinking maybe I should have not checked that box. Cos the form say if you have had 2 previous k-1 and this is my 1st k-1. Dont really know whats going on and CSC is not helping. Anyone has any input? Its going to a year now with this I-129F. :crying:

I dont know if this is much help, but I also received an Notice of Intent to Deny and submitted my response to USCIS, they received it on 10/1. I received the letter like you did.. saying it would be 60 days. And my Fiance is In Morocco, Africa.

I dont know what the process is after the Intent to Deny, but its my understanding that the Director of immigration reviews it and makes the decision to pass it on to the next level.. I could be wrong I have spoken with 2 different attorneys and from what they say it all depends on the reason of the intent to deny.. mine was that I didnt provide enough evidence to show why I couldnt travel to Morocco in the 2 years prior to submitting my petition..April 22 , 2008. but I had met him face to face in 2004 and 2005 and was able to prove an established relationship. The attorneys I spoke with and the immigration specialist stated that I have a really good case to be accepted and my evidence shows hardship, but from this point on its all up to USCIS how they move you petition along

If anyone out there knows what the next step is or has gone through this process please respond.

I dont know if that helped at all.

I wish you luck!
