INFOPASS??

I am curious if anyone has had any experiences with the InfoPass appointments.

I made an appointment for the end of the month here in New York regarding my case that is outside of "normal" processing times.

At this point I need to try every possible outlet in order to get my wife's petitions approved.

I made a service request on feb. 25th to look into my case, but I have heard nothing yet. They said that within 45 days I should hear something. Well i realize that it has not been 45 days yet, but it's very difficult to be patient after 8 months of doing so.

So i decided to make an infopass appointment for the 31st in hopes of receiving some answers.

Any advice??? past experiences with this???

Thanks a lot!

According to your timeline and your signature, you got married after you submitted the petition. If that is true, you can expect a petition denial.

My experience with info pass is that they can't help you anymore then the Customer Service Line. They see what we see. The info pass is helpful if you need help filling out forms or the other 4 items on the info pass appointment page.

I figured out that my lawyer was tracking my case with an incorrect receipt number. That was helpful. She wasn't very friendly no matter how appreciative and thankfully I was.

Have you tried The RFE trick yet?

My husband went with my father in low to his appoinment of INFFOPASS, we were outside of processing times, they did many aks about our relation, is necesary have pict, papers for the interview and go with some of your family, it is that they see everything is real and you have support of your family. They gave to us 30 days of waiting, but we were approved earlier,,,it is always necessary to do everything, calls your senators, go to the appointment with INFOPASS..

I see your time and you will have approval soon

That is when you call USCIS and select the option that they have sent you an Request for more evidence. The exact numbers to press is posted here someplace. It gets you to an adjudicatory who can touch and see where your file is.
