We just received our biometrics appointment letter. It says NOA, but it says nothing about extending my husbands residency for a year. Will I be getting (should I be) getter something else?

Thanks for the information! I just called USCIS, apparently the NOA1 was mailed on 3/5/2008 but I never received it, the biometrics was sent on 3/11/08 and has been received.

Well, at least they continue to be consistent screw ups..... nothing ever goes smooth with this process!

When you go for biometrics, if you have not received the NOA1 then ask about it, they may stamp your passport with I-551

Gemini,

Can you, please, tell me what day in February you submitted the package? Also, you mention you spoke with USCIS today. Did you get the information from the automated system entering the case number on the biometrics appt letter? That would make sense considering they are closed today and you did not receive your NOA1 yet. Thanks!

Thanks for the tip, we will ask about the stamp if we don't receive the letter by then. I submitted the package on February 29th, and yes, it was the automated system.
