If you caught your husband or fiancee in a lie and discovered they cheated on you, would you leave?

Do you agree with the use of computer spyware to record chatlogs and screen shots....

Has not happened to me with this spouse..

With someone else I loved,I spied and caught him and dumped him...

Would you leave? BE HONEST..Or would you give him another chance?

I would leave in a heart beat.........but im sorry i dont agree with spying ......... u either trust them or u dont and if u find reason to not trust them there is no way there can be a future of any kind because relationships have to have trust with out it there is nothing

I am going to have to side with wahrania on this one, yea, I just keep my eyes open and you know, don't be an idiot. Would I dump him, I would hope I would, but you know things are, sometimes if I say I am going to leave quick, I will end up staying. When 9/11 happened I swore I hated Arabs, now I am married to one. :P So I am always careful to never say never.

I think the very idea that you would need to use spyware and 'take screenshots' indicates a huge problem and its probably time to do some serious thinking. There is already a big relationship issue by that time. And no, I dont think I would do it because I wouldnt want to be the kind of person that spies. Meaning, at the end of the day we are all accountable for our own behaviour; if my husband ever chose to be unfaithful then shame on him, but I dont want to become a suspicious person who is every night secretly reviewing all my surreptitiously gathered data.....

Well lets just say I tested him beforehand. Some say that is wrong, but thats life. I wasn't going to open up my heart to a cheater.

That being said, if I had a strong enough suspicion I would do what is necessary. Would I leave? No doubt. My philosophy is "Once a cheater, always a cheater".

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

Wow! Tough question. Initially it seems easy. My gut reaction is that I would be out of there faster than a cat with its tail on fire, but I think there might be situations where I wouldn't. It's hard to explain, but I think that some relationships could rise above this sort of thing. I hope I don't have to find out if mine is one of those because I have a feeling it isn't.

As for spying software, I suppose if I was already sure in my heart and only needed the evidence to feel justified in my decision to leave and never intended to cite my findings to anyone as the reason for my leaving, I might use it. I think I'd have to have one foot out the door already to use it because once I had betrayed the trust that way, I wouldn't be able to stay if I found out I was wrong.

In my own opinion : HELL YEA , of course I would leave my spouse instant if I should ever caught him cheating on me because I've never cheat on him & I don't have any intentions doing so ,I always put Robby first in everything I do & even though I love Robby with my all & everything that I am , I don't even want to think about him cheating on me muchless catching him redhanded , that would be sooo heartbreaking for me but then again , once a cheater , always a cheater , there will be no way that I can trust him again if he ever do so to me , thats why I would let him go .
