Hello,

I am wondering, as I cannot locate a recent thread, whether there are any ORIGINAL Texas Service Center filers who have NOT been transferred to other Service Centres still left?

I was never transferred out of the TSC, received an RFE in January, and am still waiting....

Anyone else?

I'm pasting the original Loser list from that thread -- it looks like there are only five other people in the same boat as you (those who weren't included in the transfer). You might want to PM Shobey or ven2lin to see if they've heard anything. Also akwalta -- she got an RFE at the same time you did.

Don't feel too bad -- it's only been, what, about 2 1/2 weeks since you responded to your RFE? Were you touched?

Actually, I just found out from my lawyer that our RFE package was sent ONLY on March 11. So USCIS hasn't even received it yet...

I will take your advice and check what is happening with the other RFE's....

I'm still waiting. No response for me yet from USCIS.

I stamped my passport 2 months ago and was given a 6 month extension.

The Infopass lady told told me it might take another 6 months before a decision can be made.

why only a 6 months stamp?! I thought the stamp was supposed to be good for another year?!

Mar 13, 2007: checks cleared bank

Mar 24, 2007: biometrics receipt dated Mar 09

Mar 28, 2007: NOA1 dated Mar 09

Mar 28, 2007: biometrics letter dated Mar 22

Apr 06, 2007: biometrics appointment

(Oct 09, 2007: called USCIS: service request sent to TSC)

Jan 31, 2008: case transferred to VSC (last touch date changed from 04/07/07 to 02/01/08)

Feb 01, 2008: touch

Feb 04, 2008: touch

(Feb 05, 2008: infopass appointment)

Feb 07, 2008: transfer notice dated Feb 01, 08

Feb 13, 2008: touch (Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.)

Feb 25, 2008: touch

Apr 11, 2008: approval email! (only took 1 year, 34 days!)

Apr 13, 2008: 2 more approval emails

Apr 16, 2008: email notice: "Approval notice sent"

Apr 18, 2008: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!! card received!

Did you ask why you weren't transferred to VSC? I think it's weird they had some kind of pre and post cutoff -- leaving some early February and late June people behind, but transferring everyone in between . . . .

Our I-751 RFE package was just received by USCIS on Thursday.

So - a bunch of us are STILL at the Texas Service Center. A bunch of us got transferred to Vermont, while others flew west to California.

Can I please ask of the ones STILL at TSC, what your initial NOA #1 dates were?

Mine was Feb 28, 2007, with the RFE received by TSC on March 13, 2008.

Unbelievable...over a year! And, might I add, another several hundred dollars in lawyer's fees...

Ya! The lady at the infopass told me my I751 should be approved within the next 6 months.

Hence i shouldn't need more than 6 months.

I asked her the same question and that was the response she gave me.

She said I should contact them again in the next 6months if i do get no response.

But it is all good hopefully.

Will have to keep on waiting.

Yeah I also never got transferred anywhere and i am at the bottom of this list.
