Allright, so if anyone is reading this for the first time, basically after 6 and half months of AP my husband goes back to the embassy after being called back. 3am this morning I learn he got another stamp of "additional processing."

Needless today this morning has been a mini nightmare, but this is what I found out. With my patience and strong belief it is unlikely that this will being me into utter despair so lets go with what happened when I called DOS.

The lady was a very nice one, she actually talked to me.

I asked her why he got a 2nd 221g. I asked will he have to REDO the checks? She says, "Honestly...(and you know its bad when they say that) the checks will have to be redone. Meaning not the old ones already done, but the new information that cam through between the time of wiring back to embassy the results, those hits have to be cleared. Another important thing I learned she said:

IT IS PHYSICALLY/SYSTEMATICALLY IMPOSSIBLE UNTIL THE SYSTEM IS CLEARED TO ISSUE THE VISA. UNTIL ALL OF THE CHECKS COME BACK AS CLEAR, THEY WILL NOT BE ISSUING VISA.

So there it is, a DOS specialist, HONESTLY says th real story. She says hopefully it will not take 6 more months. God only knows. So this is basically happenning with all of us with such extended AP.

We really have to stop dwelling on this and just be happy when it comes. Thanks everyone for your help and support, everyone.

Will keep you posted and just remeber what this lady told me, this is most likely what is happenning with all these delayed cases. By the time the clearance comes, the system gets more names.

God knows best.

My prayers are with us all.

I am sorry to hear that he went back into security checks. When I read the FAM. manual and other reports concerning AR/AP it does state that all checks must be completed and cleared at the same time before they can issue the visa. Hang in there and hoping that this latest round of checks does not take too long.

Mary you are a sweetheart. Thank you.

Yes all will happen in Allah's time. A few more security checks does not change any of that.

Tammy you aren't alone...remember i went through all this in October and the despair we felt at the time almost broke us.

Now we just make jokes about how inefficient the US government is move on to other topics.

I am glad to see two of us got the same info, makes me more secure in believing what I was told was right.

How about we go bounty hunting and get rid of all the bad mohammid's so the good ones can get their visas?

Hang in there girl, it will happen

You have got to be just so frustrated and hurt, Tammy. But you know what? This whole mess of yours has taken a positive turn because you have inspired a lot of people here and have been so , so supportive. That is a gift from God. Surely you will be blessed for being such a blessing to others.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
